LEED & BOMA BESt
Hurley assists customers seeking certification in The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) building rating system and the BOMA BESt Certification program. Hurley is a BOMA Gold Partner and a USGBC (United States Green Building Council) member. We actively promote green principles daily and assist customers’ education of their facilities regarding these programs.

LEED As An Operational Standard
The Hurley Group is committed to realizing measurable results for our clients. Our goal is to contribute to clean and safe work environments and we maintain a detailed policy regarding Low Environmental Impact Cleaning and Low Environmental Impact Cleaning Equipment, both of which contribute to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating points. Our goal is to meet or exceed the LEED Certification requirements whenever our service scope permits.
The Hurley Group has successfully expanded our ISO9001 registration to include ISO14001 environmental registration, an industry service provider first. This certification includes a complete Environmental Management System (EMS), which provides:
§ Continual environmental improvement
§ Cost savings through waste minimization & pollution prevention
§ Defines how we manage our, and our clients, impact on the Environment
In all our service contracts there are standard practices put into place for a healthier and more environmentally friendly work environment. This commitment impacts our choice of low environmental impact chemicals, the use of paper products and plastic bags with a high degree of recycled content, the use of low environmental impact equipment and the ability to increase the efficiency of waste management programs.
