In tandem with these courses, technological developments in new equipment and chemicals require training for their safe and most productive use.
Our Shift Supervisors and Site Managers, and Manufacturers’ representatives conduct training for all new equipment.
Cleaning chemicals, and in particular floor finishes, have undergone tremendous change in the last several years. These products have served to enhance facilities’ appearance and often contribute to a safer work environment.
Once again Operations Supervisors, the Managers and Manufacturers’ representatives, working in conjunction with our Risk Department, ensure proper training for these products has been completed. Training topics covers:
• Proper dispensing
• Application & maintenance of products for maximum safety & productivity
• Environmental concerns & issues
Awareness Training For Environmental Programs
Hurley is committed to realizing measurable results for all our customers. Our goal is to contribute to clean and safe work environments.
Through our partnership with JohnsonDiversey, we implement comprehensive Healthy High Performance Cleaning (HHPC) at customer sites. HHPC is a unique housekeeping program that reduces negative impacts of cleaning on health and the environment.
In HHPC, procedures are as critical as product selection. Once implementation is complete, Hurley can assist any of our customers achieve LEED – EB Certification. Leveraging our JohnsonDiversey partnership, the HHPC LEED Accelerator provides consultation and guidance to earn points towards certification.
