eKey
eKey™ is our facility keychain sign out system for controlling keys during a service. It’s based on our ePatrol™ technology.
How It Works
• Key chains are fixed with a metal bar code keychain
• Beginning of shift, every key handed to our «WorkerNameLowerCase»s is scanned using an EDA
• The scan provides an electronic record of who issued the key, when it was issued, & who received it
• At the end of shift, all key chains are scanned to document their return
• Automatic reconciliations display any outstanding keychain(s) not returned
• Data is wirelessly transmitted from EDAs to our web portal
